A little over a week ago, 2012/01/05, I was fortunate enough to be on the Powerscripting Podcast. This was both a fun and an educational experience for me.

Although I wish I could say I am a long listener of the show. I am really not, my first time listening was just around a month ago, and before that I have never listened to any podcast live. This particular episode of the podcast was different than the normal itinerary for the show as it was more of a call-in show for listeners rather than having a scheduled guest or two.  The show is hosted as always by Hal Rottenberg and Jon Walz.

I happened to be the sort of the co-first guest on the show with the legendary Don Jones. Although I obviously am not a powershell expert, I was able to talk about my experience actually learning powershell, which for me actually started with Hal’s PowerCLI book. I was also pretty happy that a topic which started while I was on with show transferred over to a psuedo-rant by Glen Sizemore. I say the word rant because I don’t know what else to call it, and I also don’t mean it in a negative light, because almost all the info Glen brought was not only new to me, but also super interesting for me as well. I hope he is back on the podcast again soon! There were a great guests like Jason Hofferle and the ScriptingWife!

All in all it was a great time, and although Hal forgot to mention me in the recap at the end of the podcast it was a lot of fun(and I am currently plotting revenge). I hope to be back on the show in the future when I am a bit more of a guru. Also @Josh_Atwell was on the show.
