Alright, for my first post back, I created a pretty diagram of the Unified connection scheme for the VNX5200.
I found the documentation from EMC, although very good, never had a complete picture of everything once connected.
Having to plan it out for my own implementation I decided to share it with you. This if for Unified 🙂
Across the top you will see the connection types each line represents. Along the side is each hardware component.
If you are reading the EMC documentation they use Datamover/Blades/BladeEnclosure pretty interchangeably. Having very little experience with EMC prior, this was slightly confusing to me for a while.
